of your project, from initial planning through final completion. Years of experience,
superior craftsmanship, and design flair ensure that our clients receive the
individual attention they deserve.
Historic Renovation and Restoration: As one of the premier remodeling firms serving St. Paul and surrounding communities,
Authentic Construction has undertaken numerous historic renovation projects.
Vast experience in dealing with pre-and-early 1900s homes provides us with
the unique knowledge necessary to successfully restore these period homes to
their original grandeur. We received the 2000 Regional Contractor of the Year
Award from NARI in the Historic Renovation category and have been recognized
on multiple occasions by the St. Paul Chapter of the American Institute of Architects
and the St. Paul Heritage Preservation Commission for our restoration efforts.
Commercial Remodeling and Renovation: Authentic Construction is nationally recognized as a leader in the commercial remodeling field.
Named the 2000 National Contractor of the Year in the Commercial Interiors category by NARI,
we stand ready to assist owners and property managers with even the most demanding projects
Community Work: Authentic Construction believes in strong community involvement and is a member of the Grand Avenue Business Association. Each year, in addition to other direct and indirect contributions, we sponsor a special construction project in our community.
Green Building: Authentic Construction is committed to Green building practices and standards. Our efforts are led by Senior Project Manager Tom Oestreich, who has participated extensively in the "LEED for Homes", "U.S. Green buildingCouncil", "MNGreenStar Remodeling" education programs. We look for creative ways to use products and services such as certified lumber (FSC), arsenic-free materials, and re-cycled or engineered lumber. We also look for ways to recycle salvaged building materials such as doors, windows, cabinets fixtures and more, often donating them to the ReUse Center or Habitat for Humanity's ReUse store.
